UV/FX principal Richard Green brings well over 20 years of experience developing state of the art ultraviolet lighting fixtures, scenic effects and creative materials.
In 1986 in Amsterdam, Holland, Richard Green began collaborating with D.C. Leslie Pringle. This relationship culminated in the formation of Wildfire Inc., a UV lighting fixture and fluorescent paint manufacturing company, in a Venice, California garage in 1989.
In early 1997, after eight years as president, Green left Wildfire to form UV/FX and devoted the company to UV scenic effects and furthering the applications of UV responsive materials. UV/FX quickly became known for its development and use of custom formulated UV specialty coatings and paints, which revolutionized the industry and opened up new possibilities and markets.
Today, UV/FX's talented team of scenic artists, designers, and product developers continue to revolutionize the industry.
