There is no doubting the magical quality of UV/FX's 3-D scenery, however there is a definite art and science behind the fun and totally immersive custom environments. In practice for many years now, UV/FX's 3-D effect has been in constant development. Although not the originators of painted 3-D effects, our team at UV/FX is certainly the visionary pioneers and leading practitioners of this science. Viewed under ultraviolet light with Chromadepth ™ 3-D glasses, the two dimensional artwork transforms into a three dimensional virtual reality, practically drawing the viewer into the scenery. (Please contact us for a free pair to properly view this newsletter's 3-D art) Originally developed within the context of a small wall-mounted image, UV/FX has elevated the effect to define entire physical environments (see photos). As a result, the traditional barrier between viewer and two-dimensional scenery has been eliminated, thereby allowing the viewer to actually interact and immerse themselves in the scene.

Over the years, UV/FX has incorporated many 3-D effects into its groundbreaking ultraviolet scenery. Whether it is for Madison "Scare" Gardens or Princess Cruise Lines, UV/FX's signature style is quite evident. Complex in their design, and professional in their execution, these painted UV 3-D environments can be incredibly detailed, vibrant, and believable. The environments can also incorporate a mix of UV/FX signature Day to Night, Dual Image, Single Image and Complete Invisible scenic styles.

Recently UV/FX put its 3-D experience to the test with the creation of a pirate themed walk-thru maze in which the participants seek out hidden pirate treasure. The attraction at Adventures N' Fun located in Coeur d'Alene Idaho, is relatively simple in its structure. It consists of scenery painted on a system of walls that form fifteen rooms connected by a maze of hallways. The scenery is painted with UV/FX's custom-made ultraviolet paints, and illuminated by ultraviolet fluorescent tube fixtures. The result is a mesmerizing web of interactive landscapes. The attraction has been a huge success and is a testament to the fact that UV/FX can generate a complex and multidimensional environment from physically minimal elements.

Thanks to the success UV/FX's 3-D environments have achieved; we are presently developing a portable 3-D scenery system that can be set up virtually anywhere and for any occasion. There will be a number of prefabricated themed environments from which to choose. In addition, UV/FX can custom design and produce a portable environment (in any quantity) to meet your specific needs.

We love UV 3-D scenery and have since the first 3-D scenic job we did almost 7 years ago. While you do have to use the lightweight clear glasses, they don't seem to inhibit the participants from having a really great time, in this low cost / high impact type of themed environment.
