| This
20' x 30' backdrop we recently completed for singer/songwriter Jason
Mraz summer tour is another example of the Day to Night Style, which
works so well for touring shows. The ability to colorize the art on
the fly let's the lighting designer or operator change the look for
the scenery every night and then when lit with UV lighting the drop
explodes to the audiences delight.
We
were given two weeks to complete the redesign and painting of this
tour drop (please see the cover art we were working with below)
but had long wanted to work with the Bill Silva Management organization
so we pushed it and completed the actual painting part of the job
in 7 days. As always, we were on time, on budget and gave them a
look that just cannot be beat at any price. As the drop goes to
UV, lyrics and sayings appear under a totally realistic night sky.
The Artist gets the look and audience response he wanted and when
the night is over, the drop folds up in 2 minutes and ship with
a weight of around 55lbs. It just doesn't get any easier than that. |
