Party Planners
West of Los Angeles came to us with a great idea of using Complete
Invisible scenery to highlight the reveal at their event to
theater owners previewing the now released Spiderman -2 at ShoWest
in Las Vegas. In additional to the 3 -15' x 20' Complete
Invisible scenic pieces on stage, we created a large fluorescent
web for the ceiling and a series of custom designed spider costumes
for the descending spiders. Weblicious!

AMF
Bowling New York City
|
| AMF bowling wanted
to highlight their Chelsea Piers location in Manhattan and create
special UV Day to Night
art to be used in conjunction with their blacklight bowling at night.
We designed and painted 4 separate 12' x 60 scenes of New York for
the side walls to the players delight and added a special transforming
ambiance to this flagship AMF location. |

Welcome Center

Designer Gordon
Linge approached us a while back with an idea he had for this innovative
new welcome center outside of New Orleans. The art shown above was
latter cut into 7- 7x9 pieces and individual mounted in a semi circle
with a video screen in the center of the theater. When you enter
the fully automated venue, the film soon begins simultaneously with
the introduction of the UV lights for a magical experience for the
audience. Talk about an instant transformation!

Hello again
from UV/FX,
Enclosed
are a few of our spring jobs and many more to come in our upcoming
summer newsletter. Our jobs are moving more into the design and
pre-production realm and away from the "can you paint us a great
drop in 2 weeks mode". We're thrilled about the more serious directions
many of our projects are taking and see ourselves as a company
rooted in design and technology and not just great UV scenic painters.
We are pleased that this trend seems poised to continue and look
forward to working as both your scenic painting contractor and
your art and creative partner!
Have a great
summer,
|
